DSL, Landline and Home alarm system? - closet configurations
I try to get rid of my landline phone and DSL use for my alarm system monitoring and alerting.
I have a DSL modem and get rid of my landline (naked DSL is offered by BellSouth / ATT), but my alarm system will use your landline number at home to monitor and communicate with the central office in the shooting.
My DSL comes to an end of the house and went straight to the modem and then into the electrical system by one unit. In my study I have another drive that plugs into the wall outlet and then connect to my wireless router contains.
In my bedroom closet, I have the alarm system that connects to the landline.
When I release from my landline, I can connect Skype, a unit of $ 30 and with my mobile phone, but how do I get my alarm system in this configuration.

Several times a sort of alarm systems are buggy with digital phone service, but depends on the supplier. Not sure about one with Skype.
I will try to explain how the best that I can, without drawing a diagram. You can always e-mail or IM me if you need additional information or assistance.
The alarm system must be a fit in the existing phones, which means that the telephone line by the first alarm, and goes to the phones. The alarm telephone cable is usually red, green, yellow and black son. Red and green food attach to the box in front of the house or at a critical juncture in the house and phones are on the son of yellow and black wire from the alarm system.
So what could be done to get everything in the family, is as follows:
-Determine that the trunk line cable is all alert
-Determine which line to a phone near the device goes to digital phone service to offer.
